Description: I have the idea of creating a portfolio for me beacuse I had nothing to do and I hadn't a portfolio design yet. I also wanted to do something dark but still elegant and detailed. I love it...  You did it again!  I really like this, but just as constructive criticism- The areas on the left and right kind of look like panels that should have content. My eyes keep going to them and expecting for something to be there. I would consider toning them down or reshaping them so they look more like they are just part of the background.

Critiques
The background is well put together and its appearance makes the site standout. The main content is visible and the background dose not take away from the main area on the site.
I also agree that the logo would of been a good element to have added to the design which makes it even more unique then it already is. I can see your thought process was very long which paid off great and gave you above excellent results.
The contrast with the background > content is very good. the site stands out of it but is looking good with the bg as well.
The only thing im actualy missing is a logotype or a name in the design. Its not that bad that it ruins the whole site but I do miss it.
Simple said, one of the best webdesigns ive seen so far. Good job!
